Finished Nursery

Here are the finished pictures of our darling nursery. I absolutely love how it turned out! I am such a girlie-girl, so I hope our little girl will be the same and love it as much as I do. Thanks to Trish who painted, Tami who gave us the changing table, Patty (Trish's mother-in-law) who recovered the glider cushions, Darrin (from my old work) who painted the glider and changing table, and my wonderful hubby Matt who hung the tissue balls and drapes. I will take the credit for the rest. :)

I just had to post a picture of her closet. All of these clothes are gifts that we received from showers and good friends. We are so blessed!!

 We have also been stocking up on diapers over the past 9 monthes. Trish and Tyler gave us some good advice to buy a box of diapers every month when we got paid, that way we would at least have diapers before she arrived. I am very grateful that we did that, because I know it will help out.

 And finally, thanks to Tami and Jerald for giving us all of these clothes from my neice Sarah. It fills up the entire other half of our closet, and it is only up to size 18 months! I have a whole other bag full of clothes that will start from 18 months and up to 2 years. Thanks you guys for all that you gave us to help with our new addition. We really appreciate it!

Nursery

We finally got our furniture for the nursery, and Matt put it all together and helped me hang some of the decorations that I had made. It isn't quite finished yet, but it is close. I will finish hanging pictures next week when I go off track and have more time. Here are pictures of the new Daddy hanging some of the tissue balls, and the final product of the crib and name. So cute!

I'll post more pictures when the whole nursery is completely finished. So far we love it!

Baby Showers

My sisters threw me an amazing baby shower. It was so much fun, and we had a ton of people show up. Thanks to all of you that came to support Matt and I and our baby girl. We got so many cute things, and things that we will totally need and use. We really appreciated all the love and support from so many of our friends and family members. We are so lucky! I only took pictures before people showed up, so here are the ones that I have. Hopefully I will post some with people in them soon.

Our friends also threw a baby shower for us. It was a fun "Couples Shower" that was for Matt and I, and our other friends Cody and Curry that are expecting a baby girl about a week after us. It was a fun shower with lots of silly games and good times. We love our close group of friends and are so grateful for the support that they show us through the important moments in our lives. Most of them chipped in and bought us a swing for our little girl. I am so excited to get to use it when she arrives.
