In Touch with Nature

It has been a long time since I last blogged, so I have a few things to post about.

Last weekend Matt and I decided to get in touch with our outdoorsy side and took a trip to Park City last weekend. We had to go and renew all of Matt's ski passes, so we took the scenic route and went up Guardsman Pass (I think that is what it is called). It was so much fun! I have never driven to Park City that way, so it was really neat to see a part of Utah that I haven't seen before. It was gorgeous! Once we got to Park City, we went to lunch at the Wasatch Brewery and walked around all the shops on Main Street. It was so nice to spend a whole Saturday with Matt. He usually is golfing on Saturday, so it was a really nice change. Thanks baby! I had a blast!

A couple of weekends ago we went up to the canyon with some friends for a BBQ. It was so much fun to do something outdoors. Jason and Emily made the plans, and Kelly and Jon came up too. Jason worked the grill while the rest of us just ate. It was perfect! :) We had a blast, so I had to post some pictures from it.

The whole gang! (Emily & Jason, Kelly & Jon, Matt & Mandy)

Here are the boys building a fire. It looks like it is snowing, but it is just the ash floating through the air. Kind of cool!
All the girls. (Emily, Kelly, and Mandy)
A cute one of Jason and Emily.

Thanks guys! We had a blast!

Those pictures going up to Park City are beautiful. You picked the perfect time of season to see all of the color changes :) Glad you were able to spend an afternoon with your hubby, there is nothing better!
